KL - hazy

Seem lately the weather in KL is very humid, mild wind only and lack of rain. The sight of KL view is very hazy as the air is not well circulated. Really need rain ☔ to make air healthier. I have a sweet neighbour who loves to cook and occasionally will give us some dessert or herbal tea. I'm happy staying here as my neighbours all caring and nice. Each other take care of each other unit if anything happen. Still remember one time, my neighbour unable to open his gate, everyone came out to help and finding ways to open the lock for 2 hours. It is funny but sense of helping each other is there.

KUALA LUMPUR:

Car loan defaulters top the list of people declared bankrupts.

Others who were made bankrupts involved those with personal loans (15,299), housing loans (14,327), business loans (14,327) and failure to settle corporate loans (6,127).

Nazri said 6,163 individuals were declared bankrupt for standing as guarantors to loan defaulters.

The Insolvency Department registered other causes for bankruptcy as failure to settle credit card bills (5,735 people), income tax (1,112), study loans (196) and others (24,975).

[Why people tend to purchase cars which they cannot afford to pay monthly installment? I wonder a lot on this most of the time as I'm not car lover and I prefer a vehicle with 4 wheels with basic road safety is sufficient. Always put 30% of your monthly salary into saving before spending additional expenses apart of your daily expenses as older people tend to do]

People with no filter mouth

Normally when I reached office every morning, I will greet anyone passes me cheerfully. Why come to office look with grumpy face RIGHT?
Anyway...I was at the pantry making my morning coffee when one of my female colleague came to get some water. I complimented her nice dress and suggested that she should wear more dresses as she look very womanly and nice. She was happy that I compliment her. Then this colleague guy (moron) suddenly ask me not to tell lie to her. Seriously, I told him off..."I'm just being honest and I compliment when I do feel they are deserve to be compliment". Not sure why this guy always need to be so crude and hurtful even we NOT talking about him. Geessshhh!! This guy always like to say mean things and think it is fun....seriously you are already mid 30s. If you have nothing good to say.....SHUT UP le!!!

Cramp into a small office @ 2012 Jun

Today is my last day working at the current floor, on this coming Monday wil be moving back to the old floor. This is so odd as working with this company, I have move 4 times and fear of moving again. Now the old floor cramp with additonal existing colleagues and squeeze together like inside pigeon cage. The ventilation and air circulation of the whole office going to be unhealthy. I have no doubt people will prompt to take sick leave in near days. With around 50-60 people in the small area with only 2 air-condition with 2-3 horse power each cassette of the air con. It is not a good idea....well.... I guess it is not easy now with the economy in roller coaster mode right now people are more cost conscious. Let see another 1-2 years time how they are going to shove more new team members. Hope things will work out well soon.

This is my previous workstation before moving up.

Honey Smoked Duck (Korea)

Currently Isetan KLCC having Korea Food Fair. I don't fancy Korean food but my sis is a big fan. However this smoke honey duck look promising and bought a packet to try out. Seem it is quite easy to cook especially those who want to have a quick meal. Just toss the duck meat into the pan without any oil needed as the oil will ooze out from the duck meat. It is done within 3-5 mins. However the expiry duration from the manufacturer is 2 months. Just with with plain rice or with pasta is good enough. It is tasty and juicy..unlike those packaged meats in the grocery market. Will definitely buy if Isetan do sell them at all times.

Kikyo Japanese (puchong)

Having buffet lunch in Kikyo Japanese Restaurant in Puchong..it is RM39.90+ per pax. The food is just average and nothing to shout about. But the sashimi is fresh but the portion is a bit off. Do not think will be coming back unless my friends insist on comings If compare the similarity of the same buffet and food provided, would prefer MAIU Japanese Buffett @ Sri Petaling is better choice. However the price is a big higher - MYR 43.80++

Wedding in Malaysia - wear formal or informal??

I'm always happy to receive wedding invitations from my close friends, but I dread to attend. Even my own wedding, I kept as simple as possible as less people attend the better. I dislike big wedding as there is no purpose at all. I still remember last year when one of my US colleague came to Malaysia, before he attend to our senior manager's wedding, he asked what normally we wear for other wedding. I just told him...it is simple..just wear a working shirt and pants is sufficient. He was shocked and asked..no tie?..no jacket? No formal wear? I just replied it is rare to see those attend a wedding while wearing formal wear unless you are part of the family or it is requested by the couple only. He just look at me like I'm weird or pulling his leg. I just said....got people just T-shirt and jean to weddings, ok?? He just continue shock. He look really funny with shock face..hahahahaha! Anyhow, I do think agree that we should respect the couple celebration by wearing appropriately if possible. At least not wearing t-shirt and jeans..totally a no! No! Hope in coming days, people will wear more appropriately accordingly base on the event we attend
