Klinik Bintang @ Kuchai Lama

Here is one clinic I am comfortable of going if I am sick as the doctors are really proffesional, patient and willing to explain the causes of the illness.

They don't encourage their patients to eat medicine as the only solution, but they also try to find the cause of the illness of the patients. They also extremely patient in explain the symptoms they may have on the medicine they giving to their patient. I'm glad that the clinic so near to my home and it is 24 hours.

However it is best to call the clinic prior you go there. Here is the Info below

Not all doctors are the same, but choose your doctor wisely

I dont think anyone love to visit a doctor, unless they are your friends. However it is not easy to find a good doctor who will advice your health and what medicine to take in honest manner.

In every profession, there are good and bad people within every industry, it does not mean all of them are rotten. The scariest case I faced was few years back where I kept on vomitting non stop and had severe abdominal pain.

I went to an unknown clinic where the doctor just instructed me to the nearest hospital to get operated as I'm having appendix. I felt it was not appendix, so I rather go home and rest rather heading to a hospital.

But after admitted to a hospital in KL, there were 6 doctors tried to diagnosed me, but no doctor able to find out the cause and thinking probably it is appendix. When I asked them the probably cause, they just walk away and ignoring me. I was so fed up after enduring all the testing and making me worse. After 6 hours in the hospital doing nothing and felt like a rat in test lab. I just left the hospital, but prior threaten by the nurse if anything happen it my own responsible. So I signed a consent indicating it is my own free will to leave to hospital and the hospital hold no responsble on my leaving. Whatever, as I was desperate to leave.

Later in the morning, I went to see a doctor in Cheras who I normally go to..she diagnosed my pain is due to food poisoning within 5 mins of seeing her. Glad that I follow my gut feeling, if not...I probably being in operating table due to wrong diagnose by blur doctors!

Lesson: Find a doctor who you are comfortable with and trustworthy. Passion to their job and willing to listen to your sypmtoms prior diagnosing you. Willing to help you to find the cause and explain the medicine you will be taking with patient.

Mobile Apps to get a taxi in KL

I have not taken a cab in KL for a long time. We need to ask them whether the taxi driver will go the destination we wish to go.  Practically we need to beg them while required to pay them too. It is not easy to hail a taxi especially during peak hours.

It is good that there are new application we could use to get a taxi, however there is always pros and cons in everything. Well, nothing is perfect. So...it is good that we able to have more option to get a taxi easier method than waving our hand frantic at the side road.

How to write cheque

Taken from this article

How to avoid cheque fraud

  • Write cheques using black or blue ballpoint ink: dark colours make it harder for crooks to make amendments.
  • put the amount as close to the ‘£’ sign as possible. This prevents fraudsters from adding extra digits.
  • Always write out the name of the person to whom you’re sending a cheque in full. Avoid using initials.
  • If you’re making a cheque payable to a bank, building society or credit card company, always include your account details. So in the ‘payee line’ write your bank, name and account number.
  • Any amendments must be made clearly by crossing through your error and marking the correction with your initials or signature.
  • Never, ever sign a blank cheque.

Interesting Notice Board in School

We have nothing to do during weekend and we decided to pay a visit to his old school. It was fun and hilarious when we found this poster infront of the school main entrance, informing the students where "danger" are located such as drug addicts, prostitution and snatch thieves.

I never seen this posture ever display in my school when I was studying.

Gou Lou Famous Fish Head Noodle

This is one of the good place to eat in Jalan Alor during breakfast and lunch where they do great fish head noodle, tom yam seafood and curry noodle.

I always go for the tom yam seafood noodle as it is really spicy and just right for my taste bud. It is quite addictive. However not everyone unable to take the level of spicyness, they will go for their fish head or fish paste noodle. Their fish paste is quite good and fresh as it is also bouncy, yet not too soft. But it is best to go before or after lunch time as even on weekend as it is quite pack of patrons and quite limited tables. Preferable to sit inside rather outside as the weather in KL is quite humid.

News I read lately in daily newspaper. Make me more confuse than ever.

General's Report revealed were among the lost police equipment worth RM1.3 million between 2010 and last year. Part of it where 29 police cars and 44 firearms went missing within short period of time for 2010 till 2012.

Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has stood by his police chief who had earlier contended that the 44 guns which had gone missing could have have fallen into the sea and dimissing speculation that the guns fallen in the hands of criminals.

Lets average out, where 2-3 cars and 3-4 firearm went missing every quarter, lost roughly MYR 108,000 quarterly. So our royal police force acidentally drop/slip/threw MYR 36,000 monthly into the ocean?

Lazy bums

I tend to dismay with those people who are working in office buildings where their offices located in different floor within the same building. Yet they prefer to take lifts rather staircase..

For daily, I tend to see at least twice...some lazy bum people will use the lift to go one floor up or down. For example: people are in 11th floor but use the lift to go up to 12th or down to 10th floor.

Why not use the stair case? Most people rather wait and take the lift rather the stair case. It is actually not good if you heavily rely on machine when you can use more of your mucsles in your body.

I do not see anyone build a lift in their double storey houses yet....but they still manage to use their house staircase as per norm, but when they reach to office...they are different person?

I don't get it at all.
