Not all doctors are the same, but choose your doctor wisely

I dont think anyone love to visit a doctor, unless they are your friends. However it is not easy to find a good doctor who will advice your health and what medicine to take in honest manner.

In every profession, there are good and bad people within every industry, it does not mean all of them are rotten. The scariest case I faced was few years back where I kept on vomitting non stop and had severe abdominal pain.

I went to an unknown clinic where the doctor just instructed me to the nearest hospital to get operated as I'm having appendix. I felt it was not appendix, so I rather go home and rest rather heading to a hospital.

But after admitted to a hospital in KL, there were 6 doctors tried to diagnosed me, but no doctor able to find out the cause and thinking probably it is appendix. When I asked them the probably cause, they just walk away and ignoring me. I was so fed up after enduring all the testing and making me worse. After 6 hours in the hospital doing nothing and felt like a rat in test lab. I just left the hospital, but prior threaten by the nurse if anything happen it my own responsible. So I signed a consent indicating it is my own free will to leave to hospital and the hospital hold no responsble on my leaving. Whatever, as I was desperate to leave.

Later in the morning, I went to see a doctor in Cheras who I normally go to..she diagnosed my pain is due to food poisoning within 5 mins of seeing her. Glad that I follow my gut feeling, if not...I probably being in operating table due to wrong diagnose by blur doctors!

Lesson: Find a doctor who you are comfortable with and trustworthy. Passion to their job and willing to listen to your sypmtoms prior diagnosing you. Willing to help you to find the cause and explain the medicine you will be taking with patient.
