Hair experience

Few months ago, I bought a everyday coupon where it is cost me only RM79.90 instead of RM414. The coupon stated it is either hair rebonding or colour or highlight + cut, wash and blow.

I find it a good price and it is so near to my place. I able to save 80% (RM 334) wor!! I decided to use it to color my hair.

I make the appointment last month and excited but worried. When I reached there, I gave them the coupon and the thing start. After choosing the color, right away I was asked to add/purchase " RM50" a serum to protect my scalp from the color chemical. I was like FINE, they were happy I decided to buy the serum. Then after colored my hair, they again ask me to buy a hair treatment range RM30 - RM 100 so that my hair will not be dry. I decide to take the cheapest which is the RM30. When they put the hair treatment, they only put at the bottom tip of my hair. I was like WOW!! I paid RM30 to put at small fraction of my hair, but not the whole head?
Seriously, I could buy a jar of hair treatment cheaper than RM30 where I could use more than 5 time and I even could splatter all my hair with it. It is not worth it at all.

After he washed my hair, I sat and wait for the person to dry my hair. All of them reluctant to even dry my hair, by pushing the duty to one and another. I was getting unhappier every minute. They were like kids rather behaving like a hair dresser. One of them start to dry my hair with reluctant look. FYI, there were no  other customer during that time.

As the coupon also include cutting hair, I asked the person who was drying my hair to just trim my hair a bit at the bottom. No drastic change of hair needed. AGAIN they pushing the duty to each other infront of me. Hello!! You are not suppose to act and behave such manner infront of your costumers. The worst part, they curse each other with bad words in playful manner but I feel it is so so wrong.

In the end, I paid RM160 in total for a color and cut hair. I feel damn cheated as I could go to my normal hairdresser who charge me the same price. What is the RM334 of service/treatment in the coupon I gotten to saved from? I got no idea as I feel like I been fooled when I left the place. It is like I paid a normal price for my hair.

When I paid and he asked me to come again. In my heart, your team have a set of bad image to the shop. I do not think I will ever go to the place as the services hold a very important key to ensure existing clients return again and again.

However not all deals are leaving a bad impression and image, but some owner rather cut the cost/services just because of the deal has cut of their profit margin. If you are so reluctant, please do not even agree to the deal propose to you. You can reject it when been offered. :P

EPF from 12% to 13% effective on 01/01/2012

Now companies required to contribute another 1% from 12% to 13% for their employees' EPF, while the employees' contribution remain at 11% as for now. But this is only applicable to those earning MYR 5,000 and below per month

While those employees age 55 yrs old and above earning not exceeding MYR5,000, employers will contribute at 6.5% from the previous 6%, a difference of 0.5%.

Well, it is something better than nothing.

Indecisive in queuing or pretending?

Do you confront where 2 friends standing in front of you and both of them are indecisve which cashier to go for to pay their goods. By this, they both decide to queue different line.

I'm totally do not mind at all as long they decide to separate way, however I get so piss off when the other friend decide the line I'm on faster than hers. She decided to act an idiot and pretend I'm not queuing as started to cut the line and stand infront of her friend. That's make me piss off as you already decided the line, then accept your turn. Not jumping here and there like a school girl.

Sigh!! In airport, shopping malls and even in toilet also like that!

Rob and Run

Last Saturday morning around 11am, my bf went to pump petrol in Kuchai Lama Shell Station. Once he came out from his car and walking to the gas attendant. He felt something was pulling his neck, before he could turn around...his gold neckchain was rip off and shirt was torn. A dark skin guy was running away It was quick and unexpect to happen in the morning. 

He called me and told me that he was robbed and asking me whether he should chase after the thief. I just replied that you may good in running but are you able to take any knife stab if he got one with him. Do you want to gamble your life over a gold chain. Which is more priceless?

During that time, I was babysitting my niece and nephew. When my bf came back, my nephew aged 8 yrs old told him ...you can buy a gold chain but you cannot buy back your gf. I dont know whether to laugh or what :P

Anyway, the petrol station is quite busy and a lot of people hanging there. It is surprising that it could happen such place.

Wisdom Tooth

I wonder who name the wisdom tooth. Seriously!! When it is growing, it is intense pain, unable to eat properly, gum swelling, headache and grumpy.

If you think naming it as wisdom tooth could console the pain, it does not, you got to be kidding me. It should be call monsterous tooth, I unable to sleep at night and  not enjoying my food daily. It is not fun at all. AAArrrrgggGHHHH!!!

War is also has a purpose, payback time?

Why war always occur with a hidden agenda where it is actually selfish and greedy purpose? Libya is full of oil and several countries such as UK and US support Libyan fighters with military weapons. Everything is not free and when people help you out, it does not mean they are really help you, but actually helping themselves towards you. That's call "repayment" or "payback", however the amount of repayment always exceed what you requested for help.

The citizens of Libyan fought with their own life to have a better lives, however is it that simple? Other countries' moving into the country and suck all the oil out for revive their own countries' revenue. In the end, who actually lost and win? No need to even answer, it is already answered.

Friends and Business Don't Mix

Thankful that I'm not in the hot soup. My bf fren got into a big trouble recently. His dad was trying to help his friend in setting up a business by making his son a part of the shareholder. However his son do not know what is the nature of the business and how the bussiness goes. But it was all due to good faith when setting up the business.

Recently, he received a letter from banks/court stating the company owing MYR3 million dollars. He was shocked as the court forcing him to pay part of the debt by the company. Even the main person managing make the company into a big debt, but putting your name into the company....you are also liable for anything happen to the company. He has no choice now that he is required to pay the debt. 

Lesson: Do not put your name nor give others' your consent to involve anything you dont know anything or no involvement needed. It is a suicide move.

Lost MyKAD Procedure effective June 2011

Reported that the public would no longer need to lodge a police report for lost or damaged birth, marriage, academic and vehicle registration certificates, passports, driving licences and land grant

The applicants can still lodge a police report if they want to. To replace a lost or stolen MyKad, the applicant only needs to go our nearest branch. For first time replacement, the applicant needs to pay RM110.



“If it is for the second time, the fee will be RM210,” she said, adding that the fee for damaged MyKad was RM10.


“The applicant must however submit the spoilt MyKad to our officers,” she said, adding that once a person had applied for a new MyKad, the old one would be considered void and could not be used in transactions



Road Transport Department official said it had abolished the police report requirement since 2005 to replace driving licences. “An applicant only needs to visit our nearest branch and bring along his or her MyKad, photo and RM5,” he said.

1 lame excuse from BF

My bf try to jog every evening after work if he got time to do it. Once, he came back late and insist on jogging for 1 hour only as he promise but he always never do what he promise as he is infamous in being late wherever he with.

During that day, he came back late as usual. I asked him, why are you late an hour? He replied while he was jogging, there was a fat guy running faster than him. He was busy trying to outrun the fella but the fat guy keep running faster than him till he lost track of time.

Seriously, I'm really speechless as it is damn lame excuses ever of the month.

How Absent Mind I am ?

Few months ago, I was at HK airport and heading back to KL. Before I pass through the gate, one hand was holding a bottle water and the other hand is my passport. As everyone aware that no liquid allowed beyond certain area onwards, therefore I hastily drank up my water as my flight was nearing.
After dumping into the recycle bin and almost passing through the gate. I accidentally said out loud "Holy CRAP"!! and everyone behind looking at me as if I gone mad. Yes, I was mad as I threw my passport into the recycle bin instead of the empty water bottle.

Thank goodness, the recycle bin was clean as it is only bottles. It was an embarrassing event for me as I need to rampage the bin for my passport. So so insane and absent minded I can be.

Weather in KL

The weather is so hazy. Feeling feverish and dry throat all the time for almost 2 weeks now. Even the rain almost everyday does not help much. Almost every year, there will a hazy covering the west cost of Penisular Malaysia. It is man-made weather by burning the forest. Wonder how long the haze will linger...

Sungai Wang and Wedding Ring

This week is a long public holiday in Malaysia, feeling so boring. Yet, there are so many things still needed to do for my wedding. preparation. I went to Sungai Wang to check wedding rings after went everywhere in KL malls, eventually found my wedding ring at a good price. I'm delighted able to save MYR1,000 based on the design I been looking everywhere. So so worth to buy and lucky to find there.

After bought my wedding ring, I feel less stress as another to do list is DONE. As doing window shopping, I  realise Sungai Wang is better compared years ago. The varieties of clothes selling there is getting nicer and better at very affordable price. I think it is really a good place to buy cheap ladies clothes. 

Why need to buy 1 pricey/branded clothes when with the price you can at least get 3 nice ladies clothes into your closet. Next time, I'm going there more often to buy my clothes. Awesome part, even the hidden stores also have nice dresses.

Help or no help (depend)

Everyone need someone but sometime a person need to be alone to think what he/she need to do next for their own future. If help always around he/her always, he/she will be too rely on the person on decision and what to do next.

Being help is a blessing, but it could spoilt the person to be dependent on others and expecting help is always around the corner. Sometime, friend's help do not need any work but just giving moral support from friends helps a lot in strength to think what to do next for him/herself.



As we are individual, we need to understand the situation we have now and knowing where we want to head to before we seek help from friend. When in desperation, you seek help urgently might harm yourself even worse situation.

Keep calm and make your own decision. Then only plan to do next action and seek help from other on the areas you needed help on. Thats a part of growing up. No one can hold your hand 24/7 till you die, then it is not worth living.

Even the lowest point of life, you will learn something about yourself even you may not realised you have it in you. It is strength and courage to accept the fact and overcoming it. It is difficult but when the storm is over, you will be stronger person within. Time and patient is the key

Overwhelm

When so many things on my plate, feel so hard to breath and cannot think straight anymore. Just want to be in silence mode and plan out things properly to make sure nothing is missed out.

Even I feel dissapointed and down, but I have to think of 10 people while care on what I should do next for myself too. Many things to deal till I feel lost. I really need to pan out all of my list to do before I screw everything or else nothing is done is proper way. I can do it!! without any strength in me.

It is my feeling and my life path, it is how I should make my own path. People can advice, but in the end, the actual person in control is myself.

Other girls prepare their wedding planning for 1 year duration, yet I only have 3 months to do everything, including dealing with 2 heavy task in my current task and 1 big take for my career path. I do not think anyone understand how I feel and I dont think I want to explain to anyone as no one will understand unless they are face in the situation. Save my breath and focus on needed to be done. No one can help me as all these only directly on myself only.

If fail, at least show you fight till the end without giving up hope.

Mindset (Organsation = People)

Some people really in denial stage even they do understand the problem and how to solve the issues. Well.. seem it is happening on organisations management decision and personal life decision.

When it happen the lowest point, only will resolve. If you are lucky, you will able to overcome the obstacle during that point. Try to aware the pre-sign before stuck into the situation.

Tour to out of the world

Seem like people creating new ideas out of the book to attract unexpected market. Not everyone afford to travel all around the world. Now, there is a new package of tour to hell. I'm not against on it but I feel very odd and bizzare people starting to promote such service.

The most interesting part is ..the government one of the organiser. It feel weirder now.  Just wondering how much it charge and how many days is the tour.

A's grandma

A's grandma passed away last month. I'm glad that I able to give her my last respect before she was cremated. She was a gutsy and happy go-lucky old lady of 98 years old. Her funeral was a smooth and happy one as her grandchildren are in 30s and most of them have kids. Everyone in her family love her dearly, and her grandsons take turn to bring her out for date when she still able to walk. They never treat her like an old lady as she always like to jokes and tease all of them. There was a very close bond, especially with her grandsons. It is rarely see elderly will converse with young generation well and able to make each person she met feel at home with her ever cheerful face.

Once I saw her in pain, but she pretend she is ok and going about like it is normal. Even her legs are weak, she will drag a rattan chair to support her from falling. She never like us support her unless it is necessary. She is such a role model on how to be an elder one day.

Frienship

Sometime we will not know who are our real true friends. When you are in bad shape and at the most bottom phase of your life...they are the one will be there supporting you in different kind of ways.

It does not need to be in monetary, but it could just moral support or being there to listen to your problem or giving advice to guide to the right path.

In this world, people are getting more competitive and realistic. It is rare even find a true friend. If you found one, treasure them. It is good to have many, but even you have one friend only, it is already a blessing.

Even sometime some people has not found any true friend still, you just need to strong and eventually find one unexpected time and place.  :)

Shocking Incident

Last 2 week at late afternoon, I went to SS TWO Mall in PJ as it is one of the new mall in PJ to check out any new food for dinner. Eventually there are plenty of shops still vacant, nothing much to see.

Before I left the mall around 6pm, I went to the ladies. It was very quiet and only 1 unit is occupied. I checked for tissue on every unit but there isn't any. I decided to use the unit where the left side of mine is occupied by "someone else". While I was doing my own business, I saw a BIG FOOT (dark skin) and it is a MAN's right foot on the next unit. I was shocked and nearly jump out. I check up and down for any spy camera, there is nothing. I bent down and saw the moving shadow on the floor and realised there are 2 people in the unit. Yuck!! They are doing it in the LADIES!! as I went to other side of cubicle later, I saw a female foot.

Honestly, I do not expect something like this to happen in a mall. The worse thing is it is puasa period and they are malays by the looking the skin color of their leg.

Even the cleaner come to the ladies, she also frowning as she feel there is something wrong in the specific unit. I just hurrily ran out.

renewal passport at puchong branch

Just now at Imigration office Puchong. I was here at 3pm, gave the filled up form at 3.15pm, waited to called for my thumb print as 3.50pm. Waiting for the counter fee another 10 mins. After then waited another 45 min to get the passport. I was relieved that I could get within the same day. The puchong branch was extremely small and could only handle small group a day. Glad they are efficient even I was freaking out while waiting the whole process.

Please noted that they mentioned that after 4pm, the passport will handed out by next day.

Drunk man on the wheels during daytime

Last sunday, I was heading back home during late afternoon. We were at the traffic lights waiting for the green light. Suddenly a motorbike was riding in between the lane of cars (which the cars not moving at all), suddenly swaying and bang to the front car of ours. I was stunned as it make no sense as why suddenly the motorbike could be so careless when he was riding so slow.

He fell and landed his left feet on his motorcyles, he unable to move as his bike pin his left leg. A guy from the van came out to help him to lift his bike and him up. Next thing we all saw as he had a BIG bottle of alcohol. We all realised he was EXTREMELY DRUNK!! No one bother to help him after that as he was mumbling and high due to alcohol. Everyone just shake head and walk off.

Power Rate Increase Instead

Govt announced that they might increase the petrol price on June 2011, then suddenly...they change their announcement where they will not be increasing petrol price for now.  The citizen was glad about the news, but it is shortlive only.

Actually we got tricked!! As the electricity cost increase by 7.12, from 31.31 kilowatt hour (kWh) to 33.54 sen effective on 01/06/2011. These consumers will enjoy the old rate at between 21.8 sen and 33.4 sen.

As stated The new rate however will not affect 75% of domestic users whose consumption is less than 300kWh per month. Who are the 75% of domestic users?

If you think the 25% comprises of manufacturing and retailers sector only, where it will not "affect" the domestic, then govt seriously not saying the truth. Putting icing on the cake, telling us this??

Can the govt 100% guarantee with their life that it is will not affect the so call "75%"?  :P

After election, they will announce again...petrol price will increase due to the unbearable burden of the susidy needed to pay. The mindset of today's generation are different from previously. You cannot brainwash us with pitiful words of unable to bear everything.

NS Trainee incidents

NS Trainee in coma. This such incident happening so frequent and not surprise to the nation, but it is sad to hear such news all the time. Yet, govt keep on saying it is good. Eventually, if anything happen to the kids, the one who suffer are the kids' families.

• Why ask the kids to go the such training when the training is not developed and well prepared in case any problem occur?
• Why hire trainers who are insensitive any situation happen?
• Why did not have qualitfied doctor around, as expecting all kids are 100% healthy (RITE??)
• How does kids are being selected?
• What is the benefit for this training?
• Why need to copy everything what SG doing?

 Before go for the NS training:
1) Buy a large insurance premium, just in case (cheap too, as still young in age) :P
2) Write a will (you never know!!)

Friend, do not mean true friend

How to identify your true friend?

When you are in sad, they are there to give encouragemet and support.Try to make you smile. Not shun, pretending you are invisible.

When you are trouble, they are there to give suggestions and solution to solve for you.

When you fall they are there to hold your hand without any negative judgment.

A person can have be sociable and likeable, have many friends around him/her. Those being with you during your peak and happiest but left you in the ditch when smell problem. They are just basic friends where you unable to rely on them. If each person has 1 true friend, it is a blessing. If have more than 2 true friends, you really pick the right friends and damn lucky.

In this world, people getting more realistic/materialistic and friendship are secondary.

Malaysia Cost of Living

Reading this news, and I could not agree more. We are forking out our salary/money for necessity goods higher than any developed countries, or our neighbouring countries.

Govt said their vision is to have higher income in future for all malaysian citizen. Errrrrr....now only think of it? No wonder we still pathetic shape, and keep hailing those working in overseas to come back when unable to keep the existing one in good shape. All the countries hastily developing their society, zooming pass us in developing their countries in better shape than us in everything. How embrassing!! This country is a follower, not a leader. Yeah.....let's continue sitting in a comfy sofa till it flat out and watch others' passes by and we are just the cheering them on and be pat our shoulder on doing these "motivate" actions. :P

I dont think what vision 2020 will never achieve as the govt remain sitting a sofa and talk non-stop about improvement needed.. blah blah blah stuff. Move your ass and do something as we are still not there yet. Stop day dreaming and open your eyes to reality.

Japan worst case more than decade - 2011

Japanese confronted earthquake and tsunami on 11-03-2011, till now...they are still facing earthquake and unknown whether the nuclear will be affecting them. Even they all are now facing one the worst event of their life. I really amaze with their behaviour and strength within them. Even they heavily rely on technology and one of the import countries in the world. They are one of the most grounded people. I do think other developed countries can learn something from them. A country which I truly salute and have no doubt they will able to handle this disaster with the union among themselves.

Here is something I read in the dailymail.co.uk today posted, and I could not agree more about how Japanese are mould from their parents and education given there.

Trees vs Concrete

Last few days ago, I was driving home from office. I saw the city council peoples are cutting down all the old trees. These trees are aged more than 50 to 100 years. It is very sad as those trees are consider one of the oldest trees in KL in Jalan Ampang which also consider one of the oldest road in KL.

Now, I see the city council re-planting "miniature" plants which die easily. They just have to re-plant again every year. They rather do the easy way out that than trimming the old tree branches yearly.

Yes, miniature plants are more presentable to look at, but trees are move valuable. With the KL weather so bloody hot, it is so hard to walk with no shade around which can be offered easily by these old trees. Try to walk across the street with an umbrella is like walking inside an oven. So disappointed to see KL city will be all concrete with no trees around. It should have balance of everything in 1 place. Too bad to know the city council have lazy asses with short sighted vision.

Pain and pointless

I need to eat painkiller. Too much pain in my body from the frustration. Why no one understand me at all?

BFF is not real for me

If my best friend is attack by people, with knowing him for so many years... I will know his character too well on what he capable of doing. Even what happen, I do believe him without him trying convince me as I know him too well. I will not doubt him even.

If someone say thing ill about me, my best friend will side the other person as I'm the person who he has doubt unless I have proof even the other party don't need any proof or fact about me. Do I have a true friend I can rely and who knows me well to understand the type of person. The answer is NO. I have no true friend I know that I don't need convince my true colours. It is sad but this is my life. I have to face this fact of my life. Do I want to continue who I am really is? I don't want anymore. U can just accept who I am without always convincing my trust or U can leave. I don't care anymore. Too tired of all this drama.

From I see lately, all I can say is 'action speak louder than word'.

promises

We promises to clear the air if we have any doubts anything and clarify what happen if not sure the truth of the story. That was also more than 1 year ago. After some my friends said I was a person love to flirt and hang around with young men.

After fighting for days, mentally drained. Eventually he mentiond the story and never say who said it. But confirm it was truth as it was 2 people mentioned the similar thing. Therefore it was 2 against 1. After days of heated arguments with both of us exhausted. He eventually told me the assholes created the story about me. The fight impact us deeply but I could not believe we wasted our time arguing over a stupid story and my friend prefer to believe the assholes than me. It was a big blow to me about how much of trust he had on me. It was zero of trust.

The level of knowing me also Zero even we know each other for years. It was a BIG dent inside my emotion as we have waste our time argue over a stupid story.

After this event, I thought we promise we will come clean and clear the air as soon as we have any doubt. He was the one who make both of us promise.

But last week, he forgotten the promise and we fought again over stupid trust issue. I am very angry till now. After what we have promise, he return of not trusting me. The hurt is unbearable as I feel so dissapointed. What is the use of the frienship if ur friend always using stuff to attack you over other conversation.

I feel so hurt and dissapointed till now. My fren has a different mindset from me. It is so hard to tell what I really feel from my heart. Letting go a friend is easier than feeling betrayed. I feel betrayed, but he think he is the one being betrayed. Therefore the story is continue as I'm the problem. Let it be as all of thing truly childish and waste of time.

Before it heal, it collapsing again

As the stock market got better, then suddenly there are protests/wars, natural disasters and oil prices hike again. Now the Asian market falling again....all I can see are RED in most of the counters performance. There are so many people are trying to selling off their shares or got stuck already. Playing stock market is not easy as it is hard to predict which best counter to pick.

Well, to me...it is time to look at the stocks while it is going downwards, unless most of your money already stuck in the stock market.

friendship define wrongly

I have my personal problem I need to deal with. Honestly, I do not have a true friend who can give me moral support without adding more headache and argument in my life.

I feel without any friends even better....even it is lonely but at least I dont need argument with people over SENSELESS reason.

I need some privacy and self respect given. Not treat like I'm in the jail and under parole. Friendship is define different from each person. But my definition friendship is giving people freedom to choose as they are "adult" and become their advisor, not pusher.

If the friend keep on asking you.. why are you lying now? what are you hiding now? where are you now? what u doing now till u are busy meh?

I do have limit in patient when people pushing me around. When I retaliate, the case like I'm wrong. When I feel like I;m not wrong at all. When Im wrong, I do admit. But I do want RESPECT from my friends. Yet, I feel like I'm still in kindergarten playing childish games.

Dissapointed

Honestly, I dont know what's up with my friend. Just because I didnt talk to him today, he is so piss and start to accuse me here and there. What is this?

When my friend is busy...I give space to him to have his own time to do his stuff. When just bcoz only today I didnt chit chat with him. He is mad. Why cannot be a flexible as I do not ignore him all the time, only when I'm tied with work and other personal things.

Arrrgggghhh...forget it...I do not want to proceed of getting angry after spending so many year over this. I do not want to re-start this again. EVER AGAIN!!! I'm OLD and FED UP happening over again.

I JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY AND PEACEFUL LIFE.

Trust

How much your friend needed to know about you to trust you fully?

1) Base on basic instinct where talking to the person frequently?
2) Knowing her/his family background
3) Understand her/his normal character on how the person react to scenarios to see she/he is a honest
4) Check all the information about he/her through internet
5) Scan through his/her pc to look into photos and videos (even though it is private)
6) Read all his/her MSN/skype/yahoo messages to other friends to confirm how much his/her friendship to others?
7) Asking around friends about you to know who you really are to have not double confirm, but hunderd of confirmation just in case 1 person said the different thing about her/him.
8) Read up personal diary
9) Look at personal bank statements
10) Others stuff which inside her/his pc.

If you are face this situation, will be ok for you?
How come it is only 1 side being treat such way, is ok? Is the person being push and bullied when the other think it is alright. Is this healthy relationship? What is I get married and have sex....do I need to video and take photos with bf/gf  to ensure who make I really having sex with only 1 person, or else perceive he/she having sex with everyone. What is the limit of respecting one's private life without stepping too much.
What is the level of personal life is invaded. It is not about keeping secret or hiding any information to a person. But it is based how much you really need to know. If the person did not do any wrong, but doing normal routine life....but friend dont know...is it call as a secret?

Today, I am extremely tired. Yet people insist I'm hiding something.  How many more years I need to face till this scenario stop. When I'm at 60?

I rather let go such people even we were good friends for years as I really want to be free from all these drama and live happily.

Internet world soon

Nowadays, internet is a must to know. People getting lazier each day and in future...everyone will rely on internet on their daily basis. No need to even walk out of their home to get food and pay their bills.
I wonder when everyone will start to work-at-home, in 10-50 years time?

Then we really can save buying branded clothes, expensive cosmetic, shoes and etc. Everything will be virtually. I think there are so many futuristic movies where going to be reality with no doubt.

There is always pros and cons on anything implemented.

EPF - 5.8% for 2010

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has declared a dividend of 5.8 percent for 2010, up from 5.65 percent declared the year before, buoyed primarily by good performance in the equities market.

I do hope next year, we will get 6 percent but it is something we can doubt on partially, while hoping on the other side.

Last day of CNY

As of 17 Feb 2011, it is Chap Goh Mei where it also can be indicated women throw oranges into river or lake as to find their life partner. I still hear firecrackers around 9pm or so. Well, time passes really quick.

This morning, I took an hour to reach office extremely late as there was 4 cars and 1 lorry pile up at jalan tun razak.

Ending the night by having a big argument over DATE issue. Is it that important to set the best day for the day? What is the purpose and outcome? I cannot stand to be over superstitious. Cannot pick a day which practical for everyone?

Wet Market Incident

Previous years, I never like going to wet market to buy veggies and meat as I consider one of the scariest place to go. After forcing myself to wet market, I find the stuff in market are fresher and worthy to buy than in supermarkets. But the sellers know that I'm not a C-Lai who knows the right price to bargain.

But this morning, I went to the pork stall....as I wanted to cook stewed pork with dried oysters and fatt choi (sea moss). I was splattered with pig blood TWICE when the butcher accidentally place the pork slab on the wet table twice. My front blouse was filled with red dots....thank goodness the blood didn't splattered on my face...if not...I will be running like a crazy woman to my car without the pork.

Blue and black spot

When I was at my hometown during the CNY festival, I spent most of my time playing with my niece. It is quite tiresome but it is nice thou. Until she started to say "martial art time"....then she start to pretend to be Bruce Lee....with all the Heya!! heYa!! along with her hands and legs flying around. When I time out her, she will tell me that "I need exercise". :P

By the time I was back in KL, my sis was walking behind me suddenly ask me why my both legs got so many spots of blue and black....only I realise I was beaten by my own 3.5 yrs old niece. smack head....I wonder what she will become when she is grown up.

Morning Event

Came to office at 11am as this morning, I was heading to work...my car died on me. The battery went flat, so is one of the tyres. Thank goodness, the place I staying is very convenient as most of the shops are walking distance to my place. Everything was done in less than 1 hour.

Those my favourite places near my home (within walking distance):

4) Groceries
5) Pasar malam (only on monday night)
6) Facial Beauty

When I mean walking distance, it is really very short walking distance as I HATE exercise and I dread to walk too long on the road as it is quite dangerous with so many crime everyway.

CNY mood is over

Today is my first day of working from CNY. I went back to Muar on 30-Jan-2011, the day I arrived my hometown...it is raininig non-stop for 3 days. It is rarely seen the place is raining or drizzle without stop.

During the journey to Muar, inside the Muar...the air-con was spoilt. It was so suffocating till everyone unable to breath. My little niece aged 3 yrs old keep on asking me to play with her in the bus. I nearly had my migrain during the journey. When step off the bus, we were soak as it was raining heavily. For this CNY festival, it is rarely so cold weather.

On the next day, 31-Jan-2011....I successfully cook my favourite dish which I have been longing to cook by following the recipe I googled. It was one of the easiest dish to cook but it is delicious to be the main dish without addition side dishes. I'm so so happy.

I really spent 10 days (from 29 Jan till 07 Feb 2011) by keeping myself away from work life. It was nice in a way but it is still tiresome as the kids keep bugging me to play. I normally work without going out off the office. Taking care of kids are harder and need a LOT of energy. My family members keep asking me why I keep drink softdrinks and sweet stuff.....it is because I don't want to faint out of sudden while playing with them.

I met my old school mates, and asking the kids to play fireworks with my niece and nephew. It is great and fun but I do think things can be manage easier and organised if everyone help out and take care the kids with me.

raining season before CNY

In my whole life, usually before and during CNY..the weather is usually scorching sunny and humid. Most people will complain the hot weather during the festival. Some tend to get sick after eating a lot of mandarin oranges and fried stuff. But this year, the weather has drastic change. It is cold and wet.

Today, I headed back to my hometown and it was pouring. It has not stopped since this morning and watching news, found most of the neighboring towns are flooded from 1 foot to 4 feet height of water level seeping to their home. Weather forecast just mentioned, it will not stop raining for next day and notify it might cause flood. I hope I will able to enjoy CNY without any hiccups.

Dinner (Prior CNY 2011)

Just had dinner with colleagues. It was nice as we rarely to eat together. I do believe, only once a year we do together. I think we should get together more often. It will help us to have a closer communication especially on work wise. But I don't to give them that I'm softy type infront of them. If not, quite hard for me as try to be stern when needed.

Flu! flu! pls go away....

Crap!! The flu virus still residing in my body. I hope it don't expect to stay here too comfortably. Counting and hoping it will pack and leave asap.

Eating the strong medicines given by doctor, which said will cause me drowsy. But after eating the pill, I feel more alert. Too opposite reaction.

I given sent out message in my skype status to warn my colleagues to keep a distance from me. Hoping I don't infect anyone else. I think I do have a bad reaction to dusts.

Migraine

I have not gotten migraine for quite a long time. Suddenly at 9pm, the attack came from my left side of my brain. It start to pound like heartbeat, and my sight affected.

Puke each time I tried to drink or eat. So fed up, tried to eat painkiller and panadol pill each I puke, six times!!!
Now, my brain is getting and just able eat my dinner in peace.

Probably, I have been sleeping lately causes the migraine. But earlier day, I was sleepy during the daytime like I have not slept for days. Now, I need to restock my pills from the clinic just in case migraine attack out of nowhere again.

Hungry

Sigh!! Each time must always wait for A, like he is girl while I'm the guy. Wtf!! Really wanting to starve me to death. Always late in everything. I think no one can beat his lateness and confusion in timing.

Hopeless!!! Wonder can smack his head will able change his slowness or not.

Dim Sum and Congee off list for 3 months

After short trip to HK, I have eaten plenty of congee and dim sum. It is awesome compare to KL or any place.  I also eaten a lot of chinese dessert and drink gallon of milk tea. Super duper delicious.

But right now, if I think of dim sum and congee....I feel sick as I have sufficient of them till next few months. But they are still my favourite food, just temporary for now...no!!

CNY (2011)

CNY is coming in less than 2 weeks. It is Rabbit Year soon and time pass really fast. But I'm going back home much earlier and required to come back on the 3rd day. Just a bit upset as most of my gfs are still there while I going back to KL. I could not meet most of them up.

Well, bought a lot of Chinese food and goodies. I hope I can cook a good meal for my family. My mom is not a great cook but a good critic. Probably need to chant repeatly to calm my mood when she is around and critise while I cook. :P

Jealous

When I was in vacation, I saw many interest products I wanted to buy for my dad as he is getting old and hard to be independent. I saw some interesting things which I'm interested in buying for him. But due to my mom where she can be jealous when we tend to care for him more than her.

I do not understand why we are children need to show inbalance of love to our parents. Why we do need to do that? Why cannot we show our love toward our parents without dissatisfaction on the other parent. Well, parents are still human, I guess!!!

Airport Limo Charge Differently in Different Counter

I flown back to KLIA airport. I requested for budget fare limo to KL, but the front desk gal asked me how many luggages I have. I told her, it is sufficient to book a budget fare which cost MYR 73.80, but she insist of me paying MYR101.60 as I have 1 medium and small bag and others small hand carriers. I asked her why, she said the car not big enough with the luggages and 2 persons.

My fren saw me going to pay MYR 101.60, he stop me from paying the amount. And brought me to the main door of the KLIA to purchase the airport limo. The gal just look at our luggages, and charge us MYR 73.80. I wonder why the counter inside try to charge us higher. Then I saw quite a lot of foreigners who inside took mostly the Premier Limo. I wonder it is their own choice or it is the first counter desk gal of airport limo make the decision for them. I do hope the airport limo do represent fairly and proper infront out foreigners and locals.

People who blabber over everything

I told some of my colleagues that I will be going for a short vacation to HK. Beforehand, I told them not to spread this information to anyone else. NO ONE!!!

I told some of my colleagues about me going to HK actually as a test. Now, everyone in the office knows about it. Those people are HL, LH, LS and JT. I wonder who is the person who blabber out. I thought they understood when I saw them nodding.

There are some secrets I am reluctant to inform to the senior team members but they seem to be immature on keeping secret to themselves. How can I trust them with such simple promise which I have given to them as a test.

I only can allocate tasks to people which I can trust, they can keep some information of work responsiblities to themselves. Not blabbing each task they have in hand to other team wishes to know every single detail of what my team is doing.

"Trust are meant to gain from others and promises are meant to be kept. Not all people do get it regardless what age they are in." 

2nd Career

I have been reading news on people aged between late 20s and 30s likely to have a 2nd job. There are many reason of why these people rather have dual jobs than sticking to only 1 job.
It could be any reason to make them decide to have multi-job at the same itme. With sufficient of years of  working experiences in hand to start on another job they have in mind which may totally different with the with the current job.

The possible reason of why people tend to take 2nd job:
1) Limited income to support their daily expenses and for the family sake
2) Wish to fulfill their dream yet to be accomplish
3) Try to get out the normal daily tasks after many years doing the same thing.
4) To have better financial stability before retirement.
5) Move out from their comfort zone, wish to take a risk in their life
6) Pop out an idea of business out of nowhere without any possible proper planning but due to peer pressure
7) Try to test the market on knowing of really his/her interest belongs.
8) Have a business with close friends with different skill set while maintain the friendship along the way. Same passion.

Weather

Lately, the weather is cool and nice. I love it as it is nice to sleep with chilly breeze. But it feel wet.

I do hope during CNY, it will be like this weather.

Petrol Price Hike Again

NST (05-01-2011):  The price of RON 97 petrol and kerosens increased by 10sen effectively from RM2.30 to RM2.40.  The government also announced last year that the price of RON97 will be subjected to managed float to reflect the global price of petrol.

I wonder when the government will start to implement the same for RON95 and 92. I have doubt they eventually will. :P

2011

I cannot believe it is 2011 already. On the eve of new year, I was working before heading to Mon't Kiara to drink my favourite German beer. It is super nice and suitable for me who is allergy to acohol.

On 01-01-2011 morning, headed to Bangsar for dim sum. It was packed but it is worth to wait andget to enjoy the juicy and delicious dim sum. It is recommended place to go. Next...rest my ass in the house like a piglet as my celebration of quiet new year.

Parking by pretending BLIND

This morning I was at my office car park and found a good empty car space to park. Suddenly this malay guy drove from the opposite way (when the route is ONLY ONE WAY and he is wrong direction) and he is heading towards me. My mind was like this crazy driving wrong way and got no clue what he is doing that for TILL he went straight and slot his car into the car park I found.

I was like @_@, as I was reversing my car into the parking lot. The asshole pretend he did not see me at all. I never thought I will encounter such people in my office area.

So many years, I have gone to shopping malls which so hard to find any parking lot but people are more polite and courteous. They do not take your parking lot while you reversing into the parking lot. They may even wave and greet you by waving to you politely as apologise if they accidentally try to take your parking lot before looking for another lot.
